Apox the little troupe/band with a big vision started in Washington DC and moved to San Francisco and then blazed a homeless path a across the nation in the 90s and the first part of the 21st touring non stop for well over half a decade, delivering a hybrid form of tribal industrial death rock to its friends and fans and signing to LA label Triple XXX and then to Chicago based Invisible.

Now, after surviving many seasons in the American heartland, the last members standing & the new bloods ask; "Are you out there? Can you hear the whispers?"
Because Apox is still here & nothing has changed but the fatc that change is part of what we do. Everything is still fucked up. And we still want this. This...whatever this is."

Apocalypse Theatre's new untitled collection of recorded material tells the tale of the battles both won & lost and revisits the legacy that came before. This collection of songs and stories features over 2 dozen musicians, poets, artists & writers with V. Mercy & MadKat directing the madness which includes material by Argentina's "El Punkeke" to Kansas Cities "Mercury Mad" and even Co-founder Hope and her son Pilot lay down some tracks. Some of this will be available free and soon we will have links to downloads in this site. Some of it will also be on i-tunes and other digital outlets through Invisible. But if you want the special slice, then you can lure us into your city town farmhouse...get the unique DVD/CD (or the flash drive) @ our appearances which includes the entire new collection and a dozen plus songs remastered that pay respect to the pages of time that have preceded the now.

Apox may be scattered to the four winds but that is our charm because over 100 members have come and gone during the tale that is APOX.

Several of the cast and crew are coming together in late 2011 & 2012 to make a trip and plant a flag in Austin TX where other allies and members reside. Apox is also reconnecting with allies in Kansas City MO & Wichita KS.

This is a practice run as we rehearse for the big mission in late summer 2012. Its time we reclaim our flag as a caravan once again.
